Personally, I didn't even know that fetuses had skin cells, but apparently they do, and apparently those fetal skin cells can be used to help burn victims. The treatment was carried out in Lausanne, Switzerland, which only recently legalized abortion. In Switzerland abortions are legal up to 12 weeks. That's pretty early for skin cells to be forming. I'd like to know more about this. I understand that fetal stem cells are less flexible than embryonic stem cells, but I just had no idea fetuses had skin at 12 weeks.
