Catholic Honor goes to Pro-Choice Republican

Rudy Guliani, a pro-choice Republican, is having a trauma center at a Catholic hospital named after him. This is causing some ire in the Catholic Church, and the anti-choice groups, since Guliani has a position contrary to the Catholic Church.

The Bishops who don't want pro-choice Catholics to be able to get communion wrote this: ""The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions."
